WHAT YOUR POSTER SHOULD BE

  • Your Poster should summarize your work with as few words and as many pictures as possible
  • Your Poster is a visual representation of your work and a Guide to Enhance Your Discussion of itEXPECTATIONS OF YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE POSTER SESSION

• You will be expected to be present at your Poster for the entire two hour timeslot that you registered for, during the time the posters are being judged

POSTER CREATION and DESIGN

POWERPOINT

  • You should use Microsoft PowerPoint to create your Poster
  • Save it to PDF Format for electronic submission.

FONT

  • Suggested Font Choices for your Poster are: Helvetica, Calibri or Arial
  • Font Sizes

Title: 100 – 144 Points

Section Headings: 72–84 Points
Main Content: 18–24 Points, DoubleSpaced
Acknowledgements and References: 10–16 Points, SingleSpaced

POSTER SIZE

  • Poster Dimensions should be: 42 inches Wide by 36 inches High
  • Posters should NOT exceed these DimensionsPRINTING YOUR POSTER – MANN LIBRARY

Poster Printing Pricing – $8.00 per Linear Foot (Canon IPF 8300s Plotter with Matte Paper; Maximum Width is 42 inches)

Poster Printing Hours for Spring 2016; Poster Printing is available until One (1) Hour before Mann
